Lost Property Update

For the attention of Parent/Carers - We would like to inform you about recent updates to our lost property procedures aimed at improving efficiency and accessibility for all.

Moving forward, any lost items discovered within the school premises will be promptly directed to designated cabinets located in our PE area.

To optimise this process, on Thursdays, students participating in our DofE program will be assisting in sorting through the lost property and organising them into designated cages/racks. Ensuring proper organisation will facilitate easier identification of missing items.

Every Friday, these cages/racks will be positioned in the Atrium, providing all students with the opportunity to retrieve any lost belongings. Access to this lost property will be available both in the morning before the start of form and at the end of the day as students prepare to depart.

Items of significant value will be securely transferred to the Pastoral office for safekeeping.

In the event an item is labelled with a name, the respective owner will receive an email notification from Mrs. Crumpton, guiding them to collect it from her room. Attached is a picture illustrating the current amount of unlabelled lost property available for students to reclaim.

Furthermore, we kindly request that all clothing items be clearly labelled to facilitate the return process to the rightful owner. Your cooperation in ensuring this will greatly assist us in managing lost property effectively.
