Anti-Bullying Week: A Huge Success!
This week, the entire secondary phase participated in a powerful anti-bullying initiative that focused on raising awareness, promoting respect, and encouraging everyone to be upstanders rather than bystanders.
Our week-long tutor-time programme delivered valuable lessons on respect and kindness, complemented by daily assemblies for all year groups. To support the Anti-Bullying Alliance, students took part in a variety of fun activities, including sweet sales, wristband sales, a Year 10 and 11 penalty shootout, and our ever-popular Odd Socks Day, celebrating what makes each of us unique.
Thanks to our amazing team, we raised an incredible £592.87 for the Anti-Bullying Alliance! A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and participated. You’ve demonstrated the aspirational, resilient, and respectful values that make our school special.
For parents and carers, the Anti-Bullying Alliance has created a helpful booklet with advice on supporting children who experience or witness bullying, whether in person or online (below). As a parent, your guidance is a crucial part of tackling bullying and keeping children safe.
Thank you for your continued support in making this week a success! Together, we are making a difference.
