University of Warwick - Introduction to Economics Event
The University of Warwick's Economics Department is hosting a virtual Introduction to Economics event for 16-18-year-olds on Monday 20 January.
This event is hosted in collaboration with the Warwick Economics Summit and the Discover Economics national campaign.
Designed with the eight benchmarks of Good Career Guidance in mind, this event aims to help 16-18 year old students, teachers and parents/guardians to:
- Find out more about what economics really is in an interactive session.
- Experience a taster lecture from Dr Mahnaz Nazneen.
- Ask your own questions to our alumna, Samin Islam.
For parents/guardians and teachers, these sessions will help you to support your child/ pupil to make informed decisions regarding their future studies at a crucial time in their education.
