ON THE DAY OF THE EXAM

Top tips to get you through the day:

Ensure you have a recent copy of your examination timetable
Know when your examinations are; morning exams will start at 08:45 and afternoon examinations will start at 13:30
Arrive to each exam 15 minutes prior to the start time
If, for any reason you are unable to attend an examination you must contact the Academy immediately. Where the reason for absence is due to a medical issue you may be required to produce medical evidence
- Be prepared with the correct equipment as detailed below:
- Black pen
- Pencil
- Coloured pencils
- Sharpener
- Ruler
- Eraser
- Scientific Calculator
- Set Square
- Protractor
- Compass
- Transparent Pencil Case
- Bottle of water with sports top (no sweetened drinks) – LABELS MUST BE REMOVED
Know your examination room and seat number, these will be displayed both inside and outside the dining hall the day before each examination
Hand in any unauthorised materials, these will be kept safe throughout the duration of the examination and returned to you afterwards
Keep calm and remain silent
Pace yourself, know how much time you have remaining
Show your workings out
Check and double check your work
Try your best and be proud of your answers
