Aylesbury Vale Academy Achieves Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA)
We are proud to announce that AVA has achieved the prestigious Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA), accredited by Optimus Education.
This award, valid for the next three years, recognises the school’s dedicated efforts to engage and support parents and carers in the education, personal development, and aspirations of their children, as well as its work within the local community.
The year-long journey to this achievement involved a comprehensive review and enhancement of AVA’s parental engagement strategies. This included consulting on policies, improving communication channels, and acting on feedback from parental voice surveys.
While receiving the LPPA is a significant milestone for AVA, it is just the beginning of ongoing efforts to strengthen parental engagement. The award’s rigorous assessment framework will guide future plans, focusing on supporting parents in their learning, sharing the cultural diversity of the community, and solidifying AVA’s role as the hub of the local area.
