TopGolf Rewards Trip

Last Friday, students from our Year 9 and 10 GCSE PE and Health and Fitness examination groups, went on an afterschool trip to see TopGolf in Watford.

This was a trip celebrate the success of the invited students over the first term in this academic year. They had and continue to show a fantastic work ethic and positive behaviour in lessons, and we wanted to ensure this was recognised and rewarded.

It was a huge success, with staff and students alike saying how both fun and frustrating it was to play a sport that many of us have never tried before. It was 2 hours fill with fun, food and many, many mishits. Now, it wouldn't be a PE trip without a little bit of competition, and Megan Herlihy shocked us all by totalling a massive 95 points in the first game alone. She was on fire and took the #1 spot by a country mile!

Overall, it was a fantastic trip. The students were not only a credit to themselves but fantastic ambassadors for the school, so a massive thank you to them as well as Mrs Haynes, Mr. Wakefield, Mr. Abosi, Mrs Herlihy and Mr. Lobb who all have up their free time to support me on this trip.

Preparations are already underway for another trip this academic year, so if you didn't quite manage to clinch a spot this time, get your head down and make the right choices because in our behaviour premier league... every point counts!
