Year 4 Ancient Greece Experience
Year 4 had a fabulous day travelling back in time to Ancient Greece this week! We did our best poses as Greek statues and tried to hold them as long as possible, just like living statues.
We then explored Greek pottery and made our very own pots which will be coming home on Friday. After lunch, we had a food tasting session of some classic Greek flavours, including olives and feta. Lots of children tried many things they had never eaten before which they actually discovered they liked (unlike Miss Russell, who still doesn't like olives) and we are very proud of them! We finished off the day with a mini Olympics and learning a Greek dance. We hope they have come home to tell you all of their stories from the day!
