Rory from "I Rock" Joins Singing Assembly for World Music Day Celebration
To celebrate World Music Day last week, we were delighted to welcome Rory from I Rock into our singing assembly on Wednesday!
The children sang along with him, and clapped along as he performed on the drums, keyboard and guitar. He then selected four children at random to come up to the front, and each were given an instrument to play the chorus of ‘We Will Rock You’!
These children had never played the instrument before and within five minutes, picked up the chorus amazingly! We all sang with Tara as Maddie (drums), Ashton (keyboard) and Logan (guitar) played the chorus perfectly – we were so proud of their skill and their bravery!
Children came home with a letter from I Rock earlier this week, as they are able to come into school from September to run Rock Band music lessons.
