Duke of Edinburgh - Practise at AVA
Last Friday, 26th April, our Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award participants and a few Silver participants had a practice at putting up their tents and cooking for the first time on their Trangias.
It was a cold dry night and the participants did really well, the tents were assembled really quickly. Some of the students found out how cold it can actually get outside in the evening.
Well done to all, and thank you to the volunteers of staff who stayed on after School to supervise.
