Year 12 Visit to Road Farm
As part of their personal development programme, Year 12 students enjoyed a visit to Road Farm Countryways this week.
The mixed livestock and arable farm aims to help young people understand the links between farming, countryside and biodiversity. As well as learning that meals can be done on a budget by using local suppliers and how to make basic quick meals the students had a tour of the farm gaining knowledge on how the farming community have diversified to ensure sustainability.
