Careers Trip - Amersham Hospital

The students met with a variety of healthcare professionals; Occupational therapist, Speech & language therapist, Physiotherapist, Aquatics-physiotherapist, Nurses, Talent for Care team and student HSC cadets.

The students took part in a number of different interactive group activities and were also given the opportunity to go to the simulation suite and interact with a simulated patient.

We were then able to visit the hydro-pool and how this is used for rehabilitation for patients. The trip gave the students fantastic exposure to several different healthcare professions and some incredible careers advice from experienced practitioners.
