Author Visit - Emma Carlisle

Emma showed us her amazing sketch books and talked a lot about how nature has always inspired her.  She showed us her writing process, from her sketches to her word building to her drafting.  She then showed the children how to draw like her, and the children were able to draw rabbits and owls.  

Emma read her fabulous book, ‘Time Runs Like a River’, and the children (and adults!) were all hooked!  As always, the children represented our school fantastically!
