AVA staff came together on Friday 21 November for a lively Quiz Night in support of Diabetes UK. A dozen teams from both Primary and Secondary phases took part, raising almost £1,000 for the charity.
Ho ho ho – Santa is almost ready for his annual visit to Aylesbury! From Sunday 7 December 2025, Santa will once again be touring the estates of Aylesbury and visiting the High Street on the Rotary Club of Aylesbury Carol Float

Every day on Bucks Radio, the Bucks Bear Cubs feature shares primary school children’s brilliant thoughts on life, friendship and even the universe – and recently some of our primary children took part.
As the weather gets colder, please take a moment to talk to your children about staying safe around frozen ponds, lakes and rivers.
This week our whole school took part in Remembrance assemblies, many led by Rev Lane. On Tuesday, we marked Armistice Day in school, with all children observing a minute’s silence at 11.00am. Some of our pupils joined their secondary colleagues to represent AVA at a Remembrance Service.
