No Pen Day – A Day of Creative Communication
On Friday we held our first-ever No Pen Day, where both students and staff participated in learning activities without using any writing implements—and everyone did an amazing job!
The students were excited and fully engaged throughout the day’s events, which included presentations, speeches, drama, discussions, and practical maths lessons using a variety of hands-on resources.
One of the highlights was the 'silent origami' session, where students communicated non-verbally to help their partner complete the task. This exercise emphasised the importance of effective communication in different situations, a vital life skill.
Days like today allow us to show students how to express themselves in creative and diverse ways. Please ask your children what communication skills they learnt or practised.
