As you may be aware, next Friday (15th March) is Comic Relief (Red Nose Day) and to raise awareness about this worthy cause the primary school will be participating in three events.

The wonderful Bimpe from West End in Schools came in for three days to work with all our children from Reception to Year 6.
Last Wednesday we were joined in Reception and Year 1 by visitors from Thames Valley Police (and their Police van!).
On Friday 8th March Preschool were lucky enough to be visited by a pair of paramedics who had brought along their First Response vehicle for us to see. We spotted some letters and numbers on the vehicle and they even let us have a peek inside!
The portal for Reception applications for September 2024 is now open. All our Reception places are managed by Buckinghamshire Council and you will need to apply directly to them via their portal, please find the link below.

We all feel very passionate about Reading for Pleasure at the AVA, and we hope all of our children will continue to read over the Summer break! We would like to introduce the Bucks Summer Reading Challenge to you all, which has been set up through the Bucks Library Service.
The inaugural AVA’Bury Festival last Saturday was a roaring success with more than 800 people from the school and local community descending on AVA for an afternoon of fun-filled activities and performances.
Huge thanks to the large number of staff and students who contributed to make the event as successful as it was.
In fact, it was so well received that we’ve already picked a date for next year’s event – save the date for Saturday 22 June 2024! Now changed to 15th June 2024!
